Grab the Ellipse tool and make sure you select „Paths” from the Options Toolbar

Draw a large ellipse shape, something like this:

With Ellipse Tool still selected, right click on the shape and then click on the „Stroke Path” option. Select Brush from the dropdown list and click OK. Make sure the „Simulate Pressure” is not selected.

This is the result so far:

Click on the „Paths” palette on the right side of the screen

and delete the path

Let’s create now some smaller stars, to show perspective. Click back on the „Layers” palette and create a new layer. Set the foreground color to #2073fd. Select the „Brush tool” and pick the „Hard Mechanical 4 pixels” brush.

Click on the Brushes button on the Icon Palette like we did before and choose the folowing options:
